MHACY Opens Housing Waiting List for PBV and Public Housing Sites  

Applications are being accepted for Affordable housing units at 36 senior and family housing sites across the city 

YONKERS, NY (March 12, 2025) – The Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers (MHACY) is opening its waiting list for family and senior affordable housing units across the city.

Applications for Project-Based Voucher (PBV)/Public housing sites will open on Thursday, March 27 at 9 am andcloseonFriday,March28,2025 (11:59 PM ET).  Applications will be accepted online at MHACY’s website at https://www.mhacy.org/

Applicants can apply for studio, one, two, three, or four-bedroom units at 36 housing sites across the city. Eligibility is based on household income, citizenship, and the ability of the family to meet screening requirements. For senior units, applicants must be at least 62.
