Resident Advisory Board

The Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers (“MHACY”) acknowledges the importance of resident input and participation in the decision-making process and is committed to ensuring the opportunity for inclusion.  The Resident Advisory Board (“RAB”) is comprised of a representative from each of the twelve Tenant Councils, and is recognized as the official representative of the city-wide residents’ organization.  RAB works in partnership with MHACY to develop the Authority’s Annual Plan and its Strategic Planning Process.  Additionally RAB supports the Tenant Councils in their work on behalf of the residents.  By providing resident input in the decision-making process, RAB assists MHACY with advocating and applying for resources for the betterment of the entire community.  RAB meetings are generally held on the first Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Curran Court Community Room.  Guest speakers are welcome.
