Ice Cream Socials at MHACY sites during June and July provided the backdrop for COVID vaccination clinics that vaccinated residents while providing them with a cold and creamy treat.
MHACY staff went above and beyond not only getting residents vaccinated, but others in the area, pulling people off the street near Calcagno Homes, including Kentucky Fried Chicken employees coming off their shift and the staff of a nearby body shop.
Clinics were held the week of July 26 at Flynn Manor, Calcagno Homes, Loehr Court, Hall Homes & Seven Townhomes, Cottage Place Gardens and Kris Kristensen.
Other Ice Cream Social/Clinics are scheduled for August.
