MHACY President and CEO Wilson Kimball recently gave a presentation on MHACY’s Climate Resiliency Partnership with Groundwork Hudson Valley at the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities’ summer conference in Washington D.C.
Kimball and Brigitte Griswold, Executive Director of Groundwork Hudson Valley, attended the conference along with Marsha L. Fudge Secretary of US Department of Housing and Urban Development on June 23 to talk about work that is being done to address flooding and heat islands at MHACY properties. It was part of a larger discussion on redlining and environmental justice.
