As the year came to a close, MHACY reached out its senior residents who are not able to visit with family and friends for the holidays due to the pandemic with the delivery of 300 meals for Thanksgiving and another 300 meals for Christmas. The meals were underwritten by Mulford Corporation and The Fresnel Group and prepared by X20 on the Hudson Chef Peter Kelly, who himself grew up in Yonkers Public Housing. MHACY also gave out gift bags with hand sanitizer from Cross County Center, Bath & Body Works and candy donated by the MHACY staff. The Yonkers law firm of Koob & Magoolaghan donated two Nintendo video systems for kids to be raffled off on social media.
